Help a Dedicated Public Servant & Loving Mom Fight Stage 4 Cancer
For 34 years, my mother has served this country as a loyal and hardworking federal employee. For the past 23 years, she’s been at the same agency, showing up with integrity, compassion, and strength—until cancer forced her body to slow down.
Fifteen months ago, she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. She fought through every doctor’s visit, every chemo session, and every test with quiet courage. But despite her strength and hope, the cancer progressed to her liver. Now she’s fighting stage 4 liver cancer—enduring round after round of chemotherapy, radiation, and the emotional weight of a life-threatening illness.
And as if that fight wasn’t enough, she’s now battling something else: the risk of losing her job and health insurance just nine months before she qualifies for full retirement after decades of service.
She’s currently on medical leave, undergoing 25 rounds of radiation (5 days a week) while taking oral chemotherapy pills. She already completed a grueling first round of chemo from August 2024 to March 2025. Yet despite her condition and her contributions, her job is seeking to terminate her—an action that would not only rob her of the chance to retire with dignity but also strip away the health insurance that is keeping her alive.
We are asking for your help to support my mother in the most critical time of her life. Your donations will go toward:
• Medical treatments not covered by insurance
• Transportation to and from her treatment center
• Basic living expenses as she is unable to work
• Legal support to help her retain her employment until retirement
She has always been the kind of person who showed up for others—her family, her coworkers, her community. Now we’re asking for people to show up for her.
If you can give, no matter the amount, we are deeply grateful. If you cannot, please consider sharing this campaign with others who may be able to help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with her during this battle. Your prayers, support, and generosity mean more than words can express.
—With love and hope,
