Aid Tiffany’s Journey to Recovery and Stability

My name is Tiffany. I’m 27 years old. While getting out of my loft, the ladder moved and I fell from 6ft and landed on my back. I was taken to the closest emergency room where they confirmed I had broken my back, and I was transported to a hospital with a spine team. I was admitted and kept for 6 days where they confirmed that my T11-T12 was compressed together with loss of height, and T11 had a fracture as well as T12 having a burst fracture with the fracture on both sides of the vertebrae. I am in a full back/torso brace at all times except while in bed. Very painful! I’ve now been sent to a nursing home for rehab and was told I’d be out of work at least 3 months, could be longer, and will be in the brace 3-6 months. I’m the sole caretaker of my grandma and her 80-year-old sister that live with my husband and me. I’m here asking for any help I can get. I did not have any kind of disability through my job. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated, including all the prayers I can get. I was very lucky not to have been paralyzed.
