I am the proud father of Marianne Tobin and father-in-law to George Tobin. They have two young children. Marianne is pregnant with her third child. Her due date is August 7th, 2025. The new baby Tobin has a rare medical condition called Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum along with potential excess fluid on the brain (Hydrocephalus), which can be very serious. This condition requires frequent monotorig and special fetal MRI testing and possible treatment from a Neurologist who can interprest the test results and recommend a course of action to prevent lasting damage to the developing child. This is very expensive, and insurance only covers part of the associated costs.
Marianne, who has worked almost 13 years for a government contractor has recently been laid of of her career job. She recieved a very limited severance. Because of the pregnancy and possible needs of the new baby, it may be some time before she can find a comparable job.
