¡Hola! Mi nombre es Elied Montilla, soy venezolana y vivo en Puerto Ordaz, estado Bolívar.
Hoy acudo a ustedes con mucha humildad para pedir su apoyo. Necesito con urgencia una cirugía de histerectomía abdominal total, que es la única opción médica viable para tratar mi actual condición de salud: leimiomatosis uterina severa y síndrome de ovarios poliquísticos.
Mi útero está completamente invadido por miomas (tumores) de tamaño mediano y grande, algunos de hasta 16 cm, tanto en su interior como en las paredes externas. Ya no queda tejido sano. Esta situación ha empeorado en las últimas semanas: los tumores están comprimiendo otros órganos como la vejiga, el colon y el nervio ciático derecho, causándome mucho dolor e incomodidad.
Además, los quistes en ambos ovarios también deben ser extirpados en la misma intervención. Sin esta cirugía, mi salud y calidad de vida seguirán deteriorándose.
Lamentablemente, no cuento con un seguro médico ni los recursos económicos para costear la operación y el reposo postoperatorio que me impedirá trabajar durante un tiempo. Por eso recurro a ustedes, con fe y esperanza.

Hello! My name is Elied Montilla, I’m from Venezuela and live in Puerto Ordaz, Edo. Bolivar.
Today I humbly turn to you asking for support. I urgently need a total abdominal hysterectomy, which is the only medical option available to treat my current health condition: severe uterine Leiomyomatosis and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
My uterus is completely affected by fibroids (tumors) of medium and large size — some as big as 16 cm — both inside and on its outer walls. There is no healthy tissue left. In recent weeks, my symptoms have worsened, as the size and number of these tumors are compressing nearby organs like my bladder, colon, and right sciatic nerve, causing severe pain and discomfort.
I also have cysts on both ovaries, which will need to be removed during the same surgery. Without this procedure, my health and quality of life will continue to decline.
Unfortunately, I do not have medical insurance or the financial means to cover the cost of the surgery or the recovery time, during which I will be unable to work. That’s why I am reaching out to you, full of hope and faith.
