Kai needs help again 2025: COVID Edition

Hello all my beautiful people.

I know you’re thinking “what’s going on in this girl’s life now?”

So here’s the update:

I am so happy and grateful to be living in Lynnwood now. I injured both feet and ankles in the move, but I’m mostly healed now. As for my job hunt, it’s filled with the highs and lows of many prospects, lots of interviews, then ultimately the company recants the job or decides to go with someone else. In the meantime I have a bunch of odd jobs and side hustles to make some money until that great job appears. This was working for me until recently when I got sick.

At first it was a cold. I wasn’t feeling great, but still functioning. Then almost immediately after symptoms were clearing up I felt something coming on again. I thought it was allergies (isn’t that what we all hope for), but was just feeling 10x worse. I’ve never tested positive for Covid before and thought I was one of those people that would be a carrier. I was in so much disbelief I took 3 tests (see above) thinking it was a false positive. It’s been 5 years of me successfully avoiding it; now my time is up and it’s kicking my butt.

I was able to get the antivirals in time, but I’m still struggling with symptoms. I’ve been attached to the bed dealing with headaches, light sensitivity, and general fatigue. And here’s where I need help. I haven’t been able to earn money doing my weird hustles but would really like to not have my car repossessed.

Just like last fall I need help and you can help me in 3 ways.

  • 1- You can contribute to this fundraiser. Any and everything helps.
  • 2- You can pass this link along to anyone else you know willing to contribute.
  • 3- As I am getting better I can do some things. If anyone has a lead on jobs or gigs I should be applying to, pass it along. I am willing and mainly able to work.

Thanks for your time everyone.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
