Support Megan’s Fight: Health and Hope

Hello, and thank you for visiting this campaign. If you’re here, chances are you are familiar with Megan and her immediate situation. If not, I’m happy to fill you in!

Megan is one of my oldest friends; I’ve known her since she was 13 years old. It is no secret that throughout her life, my dear friend has had her struggles. And now, she’s finding herself struggling in ways only a single mother would fear.

Being a Type I Diabetic, Megan’s body has always betrayed her. This disease has ravaged her body, with and without any of her personal demons’ help. Megan will be 40 in October and she is already in full renal failure; she’s on assisted dialysis support 3-4 times weekly.

This year is presenting Megan with her first round of amputations. Her right, “big” toe has already been taken and it’s looking like she’ll lose the index finger on her dominant hand soon.

Just this week, Megan was involved in a car accident that totaled her only mode of transportation. Without her vehicle, she is unable to get to her appointments; without these appointments, my friend could very well die a lot earlier than she’s rightfully meant to.

I want to start this campaign to help turn this around for my old friend and her offspring. She’s worked really hard to get where she is and I’m really sad that I cannot help more, myself. It’s not our responsibility to support someone, no, but we can help if we can.

Thank you, for your time & gifts, in advance!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
