Hi, my name is Melanie, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and hope in my hands.
On June 8, 2025, I was involved in a serious car accident with my five-year-old son, Jaxon, that turned my life upside down. The driver of the other vehicle rear-ended us, causing my vehicle to spin out of control. He then fled the scene of the accident, causing it to be determined as a hit and run. I sustained multiple injuries, a concussion, and back injuries, and I’m currently facing a long road to recovery, both physically and mentally.
Due to the accident, I’ve had to take time off work and now face mounting medical bills, physical therapy costs, and everyday expenses. While I’m grateful to be alive, the challenges ahead are overwhelming.
