Fighting Pain, Grief, and the Unknown — But Still Holding On to Hope ❤️
Hi, my name is Jenniie, and I’m reaching out with an open heart during the most difficult chapter of my life.
I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis, a painful and incurable disease that affects me every single day. It has taken away a lot — including my ability to have children — but I continue to fight. My dogs, who belonged to my late father, have now become my children, filling a space I never thought I’d have to grieve. I made my dad a promise before he passed that I would care for them, and I hold tightly to that promise with every ounce of strength I have.
After losing my dad — the last of my immediate family and the most amazing man I’ve ever known — I’ve been navigating this pain alone. Grieving, working, hurting — and still showing up each day to do what I can. I deliver food because it’s the only job I can manage with my unpredictable health. Some days, I can barely stand from the pain. But I push through — for my dogs, for survival, and for the hope that things can get better.
Right now, I’m trying to afford health insurance, which is my first step toward accessing the medical care I need. After that comes a long list of appointments, procedures, and treatments just to manage this disease. Every dollar you give helps me get closer to stability, healing, and peace.
If it’s money, or if it’s simply a prayer — to quote the most amazing man and father I was blessed to know:
“I’m grateful. Thank you.”
From the bottom of my heart — thank you for reading, caring, sharing, or giving. Every act of kindness helps me stay strong in a life that often feels like an uphill battle.
With love,
Jenniie
