Lily is our sweet, playful 5-year-old Husky who has brought nothing but love, laughter, and adventure into our lives. On Friday, June 6th, Lily underwent emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage caused by a foreign object she accidentally ingested. Since then, she has been in the ICU fighting to recover.
Despite the care and surgery, complications developed — her intestines didn’t heal properly due to severe inflammation, and fluid was found in her abdomen indicating a possible leakage. Now, Lily needs a second emergency surgery to try and save her life.
These back-to-back procedures are incredibly expensive, and the costs have quickly become overwhelming. But without this next surgery, Lily won’t make it. She’s young, strong, and still has so much life ahead — we just need to get her through this.
