In late May, our dear friend, husband, father, and uncle Marc was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML)—an aggressive and fast-moving blood cancer. He is now in the fight of his life.
What makes this even more complex and dangerous is that Marc has an infected knee replacement, making his condition high-risk and his treatment path even more urgent and uncertain. As of now, Marc has bravely begun an intensive 21-day chemotherapy regimen, surrounded by love, strength, and the incredible medical team fighting alongside him.
But Marc can’t do this alone.
We’re raising $50,000 to help cover:
Ongoing medical expenses
Temporary housing needs
Support for his wife Di and their two daughters during this incredibly difficult time
Time is critical. AML progresses rapidly, and Marc’s journey is just beginning. The emotional and financial toll on his family is immense—and every donation, no matter the size, helps ease that burden and lets them focus on what matters most: Marc’s recovery.
If you know Marc, you know he’s the happiest guy in the room—a light in everyone’s life, always quick with a laugh, always the first to help. He’s a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and of course, the ultimate 49ers fan—rooting for his team through thick and thin, just as we are all rooting for him now.
Please consider donating and sharing this page. Your love, prayers, and support mean the world to Marc and his family.
Let’s rally behind Marc. Let’s help him win this fight.
