Please help support me as I fight breast cancer.
Hello my name is Bobbie my friends and family call me “NANI” or “Spun” (my roller derby nickname) that’s an awesome part of my life I’ll tell later . But first things first my grandson just made 1yrs old, and about a month earlier I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I knew something wasn’t right with my body but it took courage and a very close friend, and my precious grandson to get me to the ER.
next thing I knew my whole life did a 180* . I’m not perfect and I will be honest my growing up had its challenges but because of those lessons in life, has made me realise that I have so much more to give and so much more to live for, an more importantly to watch my grandson grow up.
Now one of my options that I was given was chemotherapy, if I do chemo and kill cancer cells which will also kill my healthy cells as well, plus the side affects are really harmful, I was devastated so this option will have to be the last on my list.
Now I face a bigger challenge one that no one is really ready for and that’s the financial part. I done a bit of research and have found several different options. And every one of them cost thousands, One of them was referred to me by a friend, it’s immunotherapy it’s holistic and it’s kind to the body, I was told that some of the methods of treatment aren’t covered by my insurance, and that’s why it cost so much, if it wasn’t my life I’m fighting for I would of made different choices, but what I have been told is that, not everybody responds successfully to certain treatments and there are many different kinds of treatments out now. which is why I have made this fundraiser account asking for any financial donations to help pay for the treatment which I hope to advocate and educate other cancer patience, who are going through the same struggles with treatment options and where to go for help and most importantly help emotionally, and to never give up your not alone we can fight and win the battle, thank you for taking a moment to read what will be my battle for life.
Treatments today are cutting edge and effective, and any donations made will help me with the cost for treatment and also make sure I’m healthy enough to be there for my grandbabies. I humbly ask for help and prayers. Mahalo.
