We’re reaching out today with a heavy heart and a plea for support for my beloved mother-in law, Kim, who is facing an unexpected and incredibly challenging medical crisis.

Kim has exhausted all efforts by reaching out to her benefits administrator to possibly withdraw from her retirement fund, but learned that only emergencies that deal with home repairs are now covered (due to changes within the law).

She’s the first person to offer a comforting word, prepare a meal for someone in need, lend a helping hand without being asked, or simply be there, steadfast and kind. She’s been the unwavering support for countless family members and friends through their toughest times. She’s always giving, rarely asking for anything in return, and it’s incredibly hard for her to be in this position.
Now, she’s the one who needs our help. Without this critical surgery, Kim’s condition will continue to worsen, significantly impacting her daily life and the ability to enjoy the things she loves the most to do.
