Hi, my name is Lisa, and I’m Buck’s niece. On behalf of our family, I’m reaching out to ask for help as Buck faces the biggest battle of his life.
On March 17th, Buck suddenly lost his voice. After several doctor visits and multiple hospital stays in Petoskey, he received a heartbreaking diagnosis: cancer. He has a mediastinal mass/neuroendocrine tumor — Stage 4.
Buck has already begun radiation treatment, which has taken a heavy toll on his body. He’s been back in the hospital for over a week and still has a long road ahead. Once he’s stable, he will need to complete the remainder of his radiation and begin an aggressive round of 12 chemotherapy treatments.
Anyone who knows Buck knows he’s the first person to lend a hand, no matter the time, the need, or the person. He’s always been there for others, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.
This journey has been physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming. Any support you can offer, whether through donations or by sharing this page, would mean the world to Buck and our family. Every little bit helps ease the burden and allows my Aunt Kim/family to focus on helping him heal.
Funds will help cover travel expenses to and from treatment, medical bills not fully covered by insurance, lodging during hospital stays, meals, and other essential costs. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
