Support for Skeeteno: Stroke Survivor & Beloved Caterer

Support for Skeeteno Thompson

Grenada’s Beloved Caterer • Stroke Survivor • Fighting to Recover

We are asking for your love and support for Skeeteno Thompson, a well-known and cherished member of the Grenada, Mississippi community.

Skeeteno has brought joy and comfort to many through her catering, serving delicious meals with warmth and generosity at countless local events. Whether it was a wedding, church function, or community celebration—Skeeteno was always there, giving her best.

Recently, Skeeteno suffered both a stroke and an aneurysm, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down and wheelchair-bound. This life-altering event has brought unimaginable challenges—physically, emotionally, and financially.

What She Needs

Skeeteno now requires:

Extensive medical care

In-home support and physical therapy

A wheelchair-accessible home setup

Mobility equipment and transportation support

Daily living assistance

How You Can Help

We are raising funds to help cover these essential expenses and give Skeeteno the best possible chance at healing and adapting to her new life. Any amount—large or small—will make a meaningful difference.

If Skeeteno has ever fed you, served you, smiled at you, or touched your heart, this is the time to return the love.

Let’s show her that her community stands behind her.

Please donate, share, and keep Skeeteno in your prayers.

With gratitude,

The Family & Friends of Skeeteno Thompson

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
