Help Jon Access the Care He Deserves
Jon’s story is one no family ever expects to tell, yet here we are.
Last year, Jon was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. The diagnosis changed everything in an instant. But what came after was just as devastating: a months-long delay in accessing treatment, not because it wasn’t available, but because the system made it so hard to reach.
While we navigated countless insurance hurdles, endless phone calls, and confusing policies, Jon waited. And during that wait, his condition progressed.
We’ve learned firsthand how exhausting it is to advocate for care while also fighting an illness. Jon, who has always met life with energy, humor, and compassion, found himself worn down by both the disease and the system.
Now, we’re rallying around Jon — not just because he needs support, but because he deserves it. His treatment plan is essential for keeping the leukemia in remission. And like many people facing serious illness, Jon has had to step back from work to prioritize his health, making ongoing access more complex to manage.
Jon is a father, a partner, a friend — someone who has always shown up for others. Now, we’re asking others to show up for him. It’s about making sure Jon has what he needs to keep living fully and fearlessly — not just today, but for the long road ahead.
If you’ve ever watched someone you love face a life-altering diagnosis… if you’ve ever hoped the system could be more humane… if you believe no one should have to fight cancer alone — your support means the world.
Thank you for being part of Jon’s circle of care — and for standing with him in this fight.
With gratitude,
Adele (partner) & Kimora (daughter)
