Prayers and Support for SFC Harriet Davis

For the past three weeks, our beloved Harriet Davis, known to many as Sergeant First Class (SFC) Davis, has been bravely battling a serious medical situation in the hospital. Her mother has remained steadfastly by her side, offering unwavering love and support. As she begins the next phase of her recovery, her family will face significant challenges and expenses.

Harriet will soon be moving to a long-term rehabilitation facility for an unknown amount of time, approximately 100 miles from her family. This distance will create additional burdens as her family works to support her long road to recovery. They will need assistance with expenses such as fuel for frequent travel, meals while visiting, and childcare for her grandchildren so her children can dedicate the necessary time to her care. Lodging costs will also be a factor during extended stays near the facility.

About Harriet

Harriet is more than just a soldier; she is a daughter, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, friend, and mentor – a true leader in every sense of the word. She is known for her kindness, soft-spoken nature, and genuine compassion for others. Harriet is a thoughtful and generous person, full of grace, and always willing to lend a helping hand. She is a dedicated and active member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Fairmont, NC.

A Dedicated Veteran

SFC Davis is a veteran with a total of 23 years of service both in the Navy and North Carolina Army National Guard, deploying with the 449th Combat Aviation Brigade in 2017. She currently serves with the 139th Regiment Regional Training Institute, as an instructor, 68W Program Manager (training Combat Medics), SHARP Representative/Victim Advocate, Emergency Management NCO, Master Resilience Trainer, and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Trainer. She’s dedicated her career to serving and supporting others.
