- Hi, my name is Cecelia. Starting years ago, working as a nurse full-time and raising 4 children, I neglected my teeth. Every time I would go to a dentist because my teeth were hurting, they would either take my tooth out or do a crown. Several of my teeth did NOT need to come out, but some dentists do it for the money. Eventually, I ended up with 4 teeth, and I’ve been using my gums to chew food. Now, the side gums are gone. I went to the dentist with the insurance of $1000, and they used it ALL for the X-rays. Their bill for the work and dentures is $12,000, money I don’t have living on Social Security. I am 80 years young now, and the 4 teeth are failing. Please help me. My children cannot help me. Please….
