Megan and Beau Thetford here. We wanted to express our sincere gratitude for taking the time to read our message.
For many years, we’ve cherished the dream of starting a family, and we’ve recently learned that in vitro fertilization (IVF) is our only option to make this dream a reality. We’re thrilled to share that we are finally beginning the initial steps of the IVF process.
While this journey fills us with hope, it also presents significant challenges, particularly financial ones, we are very fortunate that Beau’s insurance offers fertility coverage for the IVF procedure itself. However, this coverage does not extend to my essential hormonal medications and anesthesia.
Throughout this process, we were repeatedly assured that my medications would be covered by our fertility insurance, but we have just discovered that this is not the case. Unfortunately, all progress is currently on hold until we can gather $5,000 to cover these crucial costs.
With your support, we can move forward with my hormone treatments, schedule the egg retrieval, and ultimately proceed with the embryo transfer. We truly appreciate you considering our situation.
