Join Us in Easing David Jackson’s Burden

Hi everyone,

Our family has created this fundraiser to support David Jackson (LaVega Class of 1982) as he continues his brave fight against Stage 4 liver and bone cancer. It’s a very aggressive and terminal rare cancer called Cholangio Carcinoma. David was diagnosed in April and has recently been placed on hospice care. He is currently at home, surrounded by love, and staying as strong as he can.

We’re holding a benefit on June 14th at McDaddy’s in Elm Mott to help cover medical and end-of-life expenses. The event will include BBQ plates, a 50/50, a live auction, and live bands. We’re beyond grateful to everyone who is helping make this event possible.

We know that not everyone can attend the benefit, but many have asked how they can still help—and that’s why we started this page. Any amount you’re able to give will go directly toward supporting David’s care and easing the financial burden on our family during this time.
