Hello, my name is Maria Sofía, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My father, José Tineo, is a 71-year-old man fighting for his life due to multiple serious medical conditions. We urgently need your support.
His Condition
José has been diagnosed with End-Stage Chronic Kidney Disease (Stage V), which means his kidneys have permanently failed. He now requires lifesaving hemodialysis treatments multiple times a week.
But this is only part of the battle. He is also suffering from:
• Type 2 Diabetes
• Chronic High Blood Pressure
• Severe Sinus Node Dysfunction (bradycardia)
• First-degree Atrioventricular Block
• Parkinson’s Disease
• Suspected Multiple Myeloma (a form of bone marrow cancer)
• Neurological impairment with loss of consciousness
• Uremic encephalopathy (a life-threatening brain condition caused by kidney failure)
On June 6th, my father was rushed to the emergency room at Centro Clínico Santa Ana in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela, due to generalized body failure. He was admitted to the ICU, where he received dialysis, blood transfusions, neurological evaluations, imaging studies, and continuous cardiac monitoring.
The Urgent Need
Due to severe cardiac complications, doctors are now urgently recommending the implantation of a permanent pacemaker to regulate his heart rhythm and prevent further life-threatening episodes.
Unfortunately, the cost of his ongoing care has already exceeded $600 USD equivalent (and continues to rise). Our family simply cannot afford the surgeries, medications, dialysis sessions, and required implant procedure.
How You Can Help
Your support can help us:
• Cover the pacemaker implant surgery
• Fund continued dialysis treatments
• Purchase essential medications and medical supplies
• Complete further hematologic and neurologic testing
No amount is too small. Even a few dollars can help give my father a chance to continue fighting.
If you cannot donate, we kindly ask you to share this campaign. Your voice matters more than you think.
Thank You
We are deeply grateful for any support you can provide—whether it’s financial, emotional, or simply spreading the word. Your generosity gives our family hope and strength in this very difficult time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Maria Sofía Tineo and Family
