I am an ordinary daughter, and it is with a heavy heart that I write this message.
My elderly father, a man who worked tirelessly all his life, quiet yet strong, was recently diagnosed with a serious lung condition (such as advanced lung cancer or heart failure). Now, he depends on oxygen support to breathe and lies in bed all day, fighting for his life.
This photo was taken while I was by his side in the hospital. Though he remains silent, his eyes are filled with a deep desire to live. He hasn’t given up, and neither will we.
But the overwhelming cost of treatment has pushed our family to the edge. The daily hospital bills, medication, oxygen therapy, and nursing care are drowning us. We’ve borrowed from every friend and relative we could, sold everything of value — but it’s still not enough.
With a heart full of both sorrow and hope, I humbly ask for your help. Even one dollar can mean the difference between despair and survival for us.

Ongoing hospitalization and treatment
