Helping a disabled Marine Corps Veteran start over

Hi, my name is Chris. I’m a 52-year-old Marine Corps veteran living with a disability, and I’m reaching out for support during one of the most difficult transitions of my life.

This summer, I’m scheduled for serious back surgery in August—something that’s long overdue and necessary for my health and quality of life. At the same time, I’m preparing to go through a divorce and relocate to a new place where I can heal, rebuild, and start fresh.

I’m humbly asking for help with:

Legal fees for the divorce

Relocation costs (moving truck, deposit, first month’s rent)

Essential living expenses during recovery from surgery

I’ve always taken pride in being strong and independent, but between the upcoming medical procedure, the emotional toll of divorce, and the cost of starting over, I’ve come to a point where I simply can’t do it alone.
