Two weeks ago, my cousin Jason received the devastating news that he has brain cancer. This diagnosis has turned his world upside down, and our family is struggling to keep up with the mounting medical bills. Jason is a resilient and caring person, but the challenges he’s facing right now are overwhelming for anyone, let alone someone his age.
On top of his diagnosis, Jason recently lost both of his parents after they were taken away by ICE. He’s now facing this battle without the support of his immediate family, making his situation even more urgent and heartbreaking. Our family is doing everything we can to support him, but the costs of treatment, doctor visits, and medications are more than we can manage on our own.
