Injustice meets urgency: Renee Sandy was diagnosed with a life-threatening cancerous tumor in her neck. Doctors warn that without prompt, specialized intervention, she has only a few years. Yet, when she needed it most, Medicaid denied her coverage. How can she fight for her life when the system has failed her?

This isn’t just any cancer. Its location is critical; delaying treatment isn’t an option. The complex surgery and care required come with astronomical costs. She needs our community’s support to access the life-saving treatment she’s been unjustly denied.
