My parents don’t know about this yet, and I never want to do this but…
Anyone who knows my mom knows the kind of person she is… the kind who lights up a room with her laughter and smile, who goes out of her way to help anyone in need, and who has always put others before herself.
She has always been the heart and foundation of our family, especially to her granddaughters, who adore her endlessly. Whether it was showing up with open arms or staying up late to comfort them, she’s never stopped giving, in big ways and small. And it’s not just her family who’s felt her kindness. My mom has a special place in her heart for everyone, even animals. She’s the person who pulls over to help a stray dog, feeds the baby birds- bunnies- puppies- kittens- calves- any animal who is in need, and cries at rescue stories on TikTok. Her compassion and love is endless even in a vulnerable spot..
Now, she needs a little help of her own.
After years of quietly enduring pain yet helping everyone but herself… she’s been told she needs double knee replacement surgeries due to severe arthritis due to an autoimmune disorder. This is a huge step, physically and emotionally… not only for my mom but her family. Unfortunately to unwanted circumstances and living off of the ranch… she doesn’t have insurance to help cover the cost. Despite everything, she’s still smiling, still thinking more about how others are doing than herself, as always..
I am hoping to ease the financial weight of this journey so my dad and my mom can focus on the healing journey and getting back to being the active, vibrant mom and grandma we all know and love. Every and any donation, share, words of encouragement, or prayers helps more than I can say. This isn’t just about raising money.. it’s just about giving back to someone who has always given so much to everyone else.
