Those of you that know me call me Kelly or Kells. My name is Kelly Gardner. As you know I have had a rough couple years . In 2022 I fell at work and tore my MCL. Well in July 2023 I had my second knee surgery due to that . Well shortly after that I found out I had breast cancer. I proceeded to go through chemo. Well for the past several months I have been having severe knee pain. Today I had surgery on that knee and my MCL was retorn but also the chemo caused arthritis to become so severe it ate through my bone. They have drilled two holes into my knee to try and save my knee so I don’t have to have a knee replacement. I cannot bear any weight on my knee for at least a month. I will be at home and I have to use a wheelchair. This means another financial hardship for our family. Shaun may have to take off of work to help me and he is the sole bread winner and income of our family due to me still recovering from cancer and chemo and my memory loss.
