This is in support of my husband and his courageous battle with stage IV pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer. As a proud Army infantry veteran, he has shown incredible strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication in service to our country. Now, he is in the midst of his most challenging fight yet.
After a year and a half of exploring various treatment options and searching for a surgeon willing to take on his complex case, we finally received a long-awaited “yes.” His surgery is scheduled for early July and will involve a Whipple procedure, liver resection, and lymph node resection. Following the operation, he will remain in the hospital for approximately 14 days. If all goes well, we hope to return home just 2–3 days after discharge.
We are beyond grateful to have finally reached this point after so many setbacks and refusals. This surgery gives us renewed hope, and we’re deeply thankful to the medical team making it possible.
Thank you to everyone who has offered to help with prayers, meals, and financial donations to help with medical bills, travel etc. It means the world to me and my family ❤️
