Brendan’s Road to Recovery: A Heartfelt Request for Support

Hi, we’re Lindsey Fishel and Dillon Hoerner, and we’re asking for your help for our little brother Brendan.

Brendan was born with a rare congenital heart defect—both Aortic Stenosis and a hole in his heart—a combination that affects only about 0.02% of the population. On June 16, he underwent major open‑heart surgery to correct both issues.

He’s single, supports himself entirely, and now faces a 3–4 month recovery period with no income. Even with insurance, out-of-pocket expenses and recovery-related costs can create serious financial pressure.

Every dollar raised will go directly to supporting Brendan’s rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and any uncovered medical co-pays or therapies. Your contributions will let him focus completely on healing, without the stress of meeting basic living expenses.

We’ll keep you updated with transparent breakdowns and progress reports so you can see exactly how your donations are being used. If you’re able to help, please donate, and if you can’t, sharing this campaign means just as much—your support really makes the difference.

Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It gives Brendan peace of mind and the space to recover fully.

With all our gratitude,

Lindsey & Dillon

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
