I was diagnosed with cancer in 2021. I had a tumor in my left kidney that the doctors said was too large to remove, so they had to remove my kidney. There is a tumor in my lymphoid that is too deep to remove and has compromised my immune system, and another on my other kidney and one on my adrenal gland. A simple illness means a trip to the hospital, adding to the medical bills. About 2 years after my diagnosis, I developed degenerative disk disease of the spine, making it very painful to walk. Because of this, I had to take a demotion at work, which came with a substantial pay cut.

I also have two grandbabies I’m trying to take care of.
