My name is James Dennis, and I’m raising funds to help regain my independence and improve my quality of life. Over the past few years, my health has made it increasingly difficult to get around. I have diabetes, which has caused severe swelling and pain in my legs, and ongoing back problems make walking or standing for more than a block nearly impossible. Because of these challenges, I rely on friends and family for rides to doctor appointments, medical procedures, and even basic errands like grocery shopping. I have to plan everything around their schedules, which makes it hard to manage my health and daily needs on my own.
This situation has taken a toll on my mental health and sense of independence. I’m currently working with a lawyer to apply for Social Security Disability, so I’m unable to work right now. Having my own reliable transportation—ideally a car, but I’m also open to an electric bike—would make a huge difference. It would allow me to get to medical appointments, pick up groceries, and handle daily tasks without having to burden anyone else. Your support would help me take back control of my life and focus on my health and well-being. Thank you for considering a donation to help me move forward.
