My name is Lynsi, and I’m facing one of the most challenging chapters of my life. In late 2022, I began experiencing severe health issues—constant fatigue, headaches, and frequent illnesses. After months of searching for answers and advocating for myself, I discovered I was suffering from toxic mold poisoning. Just as I started to recover, my doctor found elevated white blood cells, and after a long struggle to be taken seriously, I was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia in May. That same month, I lost my business and experienced the heartbreak of losing my first pregnancy.
Throughout this journey, my mom and my best friend Michelle have been my pillars of support. Despite their help, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. I have not yet started treatment for my cancer, but I need to begin as soon as possible. Before I do, I am hoping to freeze my eggs so that I can have the chance to become a mom once I am in remission. Unfortunately, working part-time while managing my health and everyday expenses has made it impossible to save enough for this urgent procedure.
