Hello. My name is Jennifer and this is about my sister and her husband, Kyle and Amanda Perkins. This fundraiser has been created on their behalf to help Kyle and Amanda alleviate some of their financial strains during an incredibly difficult time.
Kyle and Amanda have been married for over 20 years. About 2.5 months ago, Kyle went to the ER with a painful shoulder. After a lot of testing, doctors, and hospital stays Kyle has been diagnosed with a terminal stage 4 hypermetastatic cancer throughout his entire torso and head. The intention is to start a round of chemo in the next week or two. He is on a myriad of medications currently to help alleviate some of the pain and support his system.
As anyone can imagine, even with insurance, the cost of doctors, testing, medical stuff, prescriptions, etc., in addition to a lost income, has put an incredible strain on my sister and her husband. She has never been one to share her struggles publicly. She is an incredibly talented RN at the ER in Port Orange. She saves lives everyday, but right now she needs some help so she can help her husband. I have created this fundraiser in an attempt to try to help her. Any and all funds raised will go directly to her to use at her discretion.
I respectfully and humbly ask for any help from anyone that is able to on my sister’s and her husband’s behalf. They should be concentrating on other things, not worrying about how to pay for his prescriptions, chemo, doctor co-pays, and other finances right now.
