It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Rick Poolaw. Rick was an incredible man who touched the lives of so many and was a true pillar of our community.
Throughout his life, Rick dedicated himself to serving others as a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and through his years of service as a retired New Mexico State Police Officer. His kindness, generosity, and commitment to helping those around him left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Although his unexpected passing has left our hearts broken, we find comfort in knowing that Rick is now at peace. We are coming together to honor his life and provide him with the meaningful and dignified burial service he deserves.
We are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses and create a special celebration of life that reflects the amazing person Rick was. Your contributions will also help make it possible for family members, including his only living brother traveling from Oklahoma, to be present as we say goodbye and celebrate Rick’s life and legacy.
