Norman Patrick Ellis, who everyone called Pat, was my boyfriend’s grandfather, but he was also like a grandpa to me. I’ve known Pat since I was a kid, and for the past five and a half years, I lived with him and helped take care of him when his grandson wasn’t home. We grew incredibly close—he always had my back, made me laugh, and was the kind of person you could count on at any time. Pat was a friend, husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
Recently, I went to visit Pat’s burial site and saw that he still doesn’t have a headstone. Seeing that broke my heart and brought me to tears. I know his grandson would do everything possible to help if he were home, so I wanted to step in and help the family raise enough money to give Pat the headstone he deserves. It’s important to me that his resting place is marked, so family and friends have somewhere to visit and remember him.
All donations will go toward purchasing a headstone for Pat and covering any related costs. Please help bring this man’s burial to life by donating anything, no matter how small. Everything is greatly appreciated. Everyone deserves a place to visit and remember a loved one who has passed.
