Hello, my name is Kaitlin. I am the oldest out of 4 kids. Our dad recently had three separate strokes due to blockage in his brain.
The doctors said that there is currently no known cure. We are trying to uplift his spirits any way we can. He is in pain every day. He can barely walk to the bathroom.
He has lost all sense of self. My mom is trying her best; however, there is only so much one person can do. Bills are starting to pile up.
I have three younger siblings who don’t understand why their dad can’t play with them. They are wondering why he can’t cook for them anymore.
We are hoping that with help and support from the community, we can take some of the stress off both my mom and dad.
We only have a limited time left with our dad, and all I can hope and pray for is that my family and I can spend that time happy and content together.
