Amelia’s Fight: Liver and Kidney Transplant

Hello, my name is Vanessa and I am trying to raise funds to help my Tia Amelia (aunt) in Florida.

She has always been the person to help everyone and do whatever she could for them. She lost her oldest son Luis in June 2019, and then her husband-my sweet Uncle Willie in March 2024. She has been a rock and taking care of them through their sickness and now her younger son Adolph is the one there for her. He has had to take time off of work to help care for her.

Amelia currently is on the transplant list for her liver and kidney as they are both failing- her liver is completely gone and she undergoes to dialysis Monday,Wednesday and Friday and is connected to machines.

she currently is fighting a blood infection in her dialysis port which takes her off the transplant list until she is healthy again.

Medicare is still leaving her with a ton of bills- she has been in the hospital for about 6 weeks now and we don’t see her getting able to go home until she is able to get a transplant.

Anything you can donate will be GREATLY appreciated. Please continue to lift her in prayers and for Adolph as he is traveling back and forth to Gainesville (4.5 hour drive from their home) multiple times to be there so she’s not always alone.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
