My best friend, Benjamin “BJ” Hillhouse, has been courageously battling a life-threatening sickness for almost 2 years now. This resilient individual has been facing an infection that has taken a toll on his body. Despite already having undergone one amputation, and with another one imminent, BJ remains a pillar of strength. His foot and leg have been severely affected, and the infection is now attacking his organs, necessitating another amputation. His wife, Kayla, will be his primary caregiver, and unfortunately, she will not be able to work.
If you know BJ, then you know that he is one of the most selfless, caring, and loving individuals you will ever meet. He has always been there for others, always willing to lend a helping hand. Now, it is our turn to rally around him. If you can spare anything, it would be a blessing. I understand that times are tough, but every little bit counts. If you cannot give, I ask that you pray. Pray for BJ’s recovery, pray that this will be the end of this infection, and pray that his surgery goes well. BJ is one of the strongest people I know, and I have no doubt that he will overcome this challenge. However, he needs our support, our love, and our encouragement.
