Casey’s Hand Needs Urgent Surgery

Hi, I’m KC, the mother of Casey who needs surgery to repair a break that happened on June 4, 2025. He has a date scheduled for surgery on June 19, 2025, and the surgeon is requiring a paid-in-full amount before the surgery takes place, and the hospital wants a minimum of 10%. Why? Because it’s non-life-threatening, only life-altering. He is currently uninsured and needs this surgery to ensure his hand is operational in the future as he is a mechanic. He was to start his new job on June 9, 2025, but can’t until his hand is fixed. Without this surgery, he’ll be lucky if he even has 50% usage of his hand, rendering him basically handicapped for the rest of his life.

I’ve maxed out my CareCredit limit with doctor visits. You know they just have to X-ray it every time and change the splint. We have applied for assistance and have been denied each time.
