Chris Lesanko Rehabilitation Exercise Fund 2025

Chris Lesanko Rehabilitation Exercise Fund 2025

Money raised will go towards offsetting the high cost of exercise/rehabilitation and other expenses with life in a wheelchair. Raising funds is very important to Chris as he progresses in his recovery he can focus on other aspects of life. Without the golf tournament/donations each year Chris’s life would be dramatically different. If there are extra funds raised, it would go towards hiring workers so family members would not have to be relied on.

Chris was paralyzed in March 2005 resulting in C4 complete spinal cord injury. Chris could not move or feel anything below his neck. Chris was then very upset with the lack of exercise he received until he went to California called Project Walk. This place was what he was looking for and he wanted to give other individuals the opportunity to experience what he did. With help from family, friends and strangers and especially a close friend Owen Carlson, Chris Founded First Steps Wellness Centre.

Chris attends First Steps Wellness Centre every second day for two hours. It is a charity nonprofit organization.

This fundraiser page is also set up in partnership with the golf tournament that is coming up! Hopefully, this makes it easier for everybody with donations and helps Chris’s American friends help Chris out!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
