Defeating my Mama’s Breast Cancer! In God’s mighty name!

Hello, everyone!

It’s nasty and horrible to introduce myself this way…

Hi, I am Inna, the (Canada based) concerned daughter of Michelle (57yo, PH Based) — who was diagnosed with aggressive Stage 3A and Grade 3 breast cancer. From a single lump on the right breast to having metastases.

Metastasis – the process where cancer cells break away from a primary tumor and spread to other parts of the body, forming new tumors.

New tumors are called metastases.

How? Who knows?! But…we have a family history of cancers! It sucks! My mom just felt a lump, have it checked… then, boom! The big “C” was seen.

Aside from God and prayers, fighting this terrible “C” is a highway robbery.

In The Philippines, UNFORTUNATELY treatments are not free and are pricey. Sadly, a lot of people die of cancer without receiving treatments because they can’t afford it. We, personally, can’t afford it too :(((((((((( pls help 🙁

My mom applied for PhilHealth’s Z Benefits — designed to provide financial protection against catastrophic illnesses by covering / giving discounts for medical treatments.

It is still case to case basis. Z benefits will not provide zero coverage with her condition…Only discounts. We are still grateful and thankful! better than none!

* sigh *

The procedures and treatments are as follows:

(Perpetual Succour Hospital – Cebu Cancer Institute SPC Medical Specialty Center)

• 8 cycles of chemotherapy (every 21 days)

= 2,950 CAD / cycle (excluding doctors fee)

total of $23,600 (excluding doctors fee— $250 per doctor, per cycle)

• Injectables to be continued after 8 cycles of chemo for 10 more months = 1,300 CAD

• Radiotherapy for 30 days

= 5,000 CAD

• Surgery / breast removal

= 3,600 – 5,100 CAD

GRAND TOTAL: 36, 900 CAD (feeling really nauseous)

BUT!!! Claiming and praying that the Z benefits will be approved,

Then we will only need a little more than 18,000 CAD!!!

please please please help us defeat my beloved mom’s breast C! Any amount will be a big help.

I never thought of doing this kind of fundraising. 🙁

Bless your kindness and generosity.

Include us in your prayers too, please!

We appreciate all of you!

PS:

Michelle wants to live longer… of course! to visit us in Canada and be with her grand daughter, Amalia (my child) and witness my younger brother’s graduation, wedding and bond with future grandchildren.

should you have any questions or if you want me to forward the test results, if you wanna send in interact or Gcash please feel free to reach me through text, Facebook, Instagram or e-mail!

THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE! ❤️

*hugs*

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.

Easy and Simple setup

Starting a fundraiser has never been easier. In few steps, you can launch your campaign and begin accepting donations.
