Donate to Ben’s Medical and Personal Needs

Hi, My name is Jim, I am Ben’s uncle. Ben suffered a grand mal seizure November 17th 2024 and has been hospitalized since them. We have gotten to the point where he was able to go to rehab where they could work on getting off the trach collar. He keeps getting infections and ends up back into the hospital. Ben is epilithic. He is also disabled. His insurance is Medicare and they are applying for medicaid to help with hospital bills and to help pay for the nursing home. This has been going on for almost 8 months. The ancillary doctors are starting to bill the 20 percent that medicare does not cover. He also has personal bills that I have been trying to pay. Once his medicaid application is approved, his SSDI check of 1554.00 will be redirected to the nursing home. Then there will be no funds to pay his bills. Ben worked so hard to maintain a high credit score and I would hate to have him start over again. He is young, 45. I am not sure if he will recover fully. He is back at the hospital and now suffering wil bowel issues. He may need surgery again. This poor kid just can’t get a break. I am doing all can to help, but my funds are limited. If anyone can help out, we would sincerely appreciate it!
