Donate to Gabrielle’s Journey to Healing and Hope

Hey everyone, my name is Mary Keller .

I am starting this fundraiser for my daughter Gabrielle Keller.

She nor her husband know I’m doing this.

but with medical Bills & missing work, it’s becoming a bit of an overload for her.

3-25-25 , after a while of struggling, she had a positive pregnancy test.

We were all just so happy for her.

she went for her first appointment not to long after that to confirm her pregnancy with a local obgyn.

Everything was great.

4-18-2025 , she came home from work to notice some bleeding.

As anyone would especially being their first pregnancy, she went to our local ER.

after hours of sitting, bloodwork & other test.

The Doctor returned to let her know that at this point she would be roughly 8 weeks & that her hcg levels were at 256,000.

they told her that with how high her hcg levels were that they should be able to find a heart beat.

There was not one.

They then proceeded to tell her that honestly at this point they did not know if she was miscarrying or not. The hospital released her & told her to follow up with her obgyn.

She was concerned with all the information they gave her but also not giving her much information at the same time.

She then went to Slidell memorial the following morning where she met the sweet , most caring ER Dr.

She did the same test the other hospital did but wanted her to return to the ER to see her again the following Sunday. She advised that normally after testing hcg levels that they like to wait 48 hrs to do it again.

Gabby returned to the ER in Slidell that Sunday where the same ER DR advised her the levels were continuing to rise & that there was no heart beat.

The ER Dr following up with the on call obgyn there where she stating she would most likely need a D&C & they follow up with her obgyn asap Monday morning.

The Obgyn refused to see us bc she didn’t take walk ins or same day appointments even though the ER stated to come there asap next morning.

We called around every obgyn & finally found a Dr.

She went to see this Dr on Monday , April 21st of 2025.

He advised her that she had a molar pregnancy.

& a D&C was what she needed within the next week.

she had a D&C on March 22nd of 2025 .

everything was fine until it was not.

They continued to monitor her hcg levels praying they would drop to 0.

*Do some research on Molar pregnancy.

if not treated correctly or in an appropriate amount of time , the cells can exit the uterus & attached to other parts of the body (main part being Lungs ending in lung cancer)

She went every week to check her hcg levels. They dropped all the way from 256,000 to 600.

then that following week shot up to 1,200.

the dr referred her to a obgyn oncologist.

she had a consult with Dr in Covington at the st Tammany cancer center were she had options

with blood work & testing they told her that the molar (tumors) in her uterus had basically rooted & were growing back.

she had options of:

1:try another D&C but the chances of it coming back was still there & then it would lead to chemo therapy.

2: Hysterectomy. (If anyone knows Gabby , all she’s ever wanted was to be the best mom she could be) so that was no. The dr told Gabby that has long as it’s contained to the uterus it was curable & she still had the chance to be a mom

3: chemo

She chose to put up the biggest fight with all the other factor not being the best outcome… Chemo

She is going to Covington everyday 1 week & then the next week she is “off.” Then continues the week after that.

Despite all of the side effects that she has had ; hair thinning , mouth sores, headaches, joint pain , rashes ,muscle soreness, She still has hope that this will all go away & she can be a mom.

We Do not know how long her treatments will be.

They will continue to monitor her levels to see them drop to 0 & she will get 2-3 more cycles after that to make sure.

She is using all her sick & vacation time for the weeks she can’t go to work just to make her 80 hrs.

Anything at all is very appreciated . Even a quick prayer.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
