Support Tamara Barfield & Her Family During Her Fight with Stage 4 Cancer

Hi everyone,
My name is Corrinne Richards, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of someone incredibly special — Tamara Barfield (Lynne). Tamara is a mother, a cousin, a sister, and a dear friend to many. Her warmth, her strength, and her heart have touched so many lives throughout the years.
Tamara has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Doctors have shared that it is incurable and that it has already spread to multiple areas, including her lymph nodes, as well as a large mass they found. In addition, she’s currently battling a serious infection in her colon, which has left her without energy, unable to eat, and mostly sleeping. She was recently discharged from the hospital and is now at home where her family is doing everything they can to keep her as comfortable as possible.
A PET scan is scheduled for later this month, and infusions are expected to begin soon. But even before that next step, her family is carrying the weight of medical expenses, caregiving needs, and daily living costs — all while trying to stay strong for Tamara.
This fundraiser is being created to help cover:
• Ongoing medical care, treatments, and comfort-focused therapies
• In-home care, supplies, and medical equipment
• Time off work and basic living expenses for her family
• Emergency costs that may come unexpectedly
• Any end-of-life planning needs, if and when they arise
Tamara is facing the unthinkable — and her family is doing everything they can to be her strength. I may not be in the middle of it all, but I see the love, the pain, and the bravery — and I just want to help however I can by spreading the word.
