Hi, my name is Brandie Williams, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit.
In April, my life took a sudden turn when the devastating floods hit Memphis. My car was completely totaled in the flood, and since then, it’s felt like I’ve been stuck in survival mode—trying to stay afloat while one challenge after another knocks me down.
Just as I was trying to recover and move forward, I suffered a painful injury. I fell and tore my ACL and meniscus, and the news that I would need surgery to repair it was overwhelming. My funds were already stretched thin from dealing with the aftermath of the flood, and now they’re completely depleted.
I’ve been placed on short-term disability by my job, but what I receive barely covers the essentials—rent, utilities, and food—let alone the cost of medical care and surgery. I’ve always tried to be strong and self-sufficient, but right now, I truly need help.
If you’re able to donate, any amount will make a difference. I know so many people are struggling right now, and it means the world just to have your support—whether through a donation, a share, or even just kind words.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story. I’m holding on to hope, and with your help, I believe I can get back on my feet—literally.
With gratitude,
Brandie Williams
