Stage 3 Colon Cancer;
2 Brutal rounds of Chemo to cure Hep C
and now, Advanced Kidney Cancer.
Each diagnosis came with hard odds. Each time, John fought back with resilience, humour, and grit. the kind that only comes from a life lived tough and honest.
But now, time is running out. Doctors say he has a few months left. And with the time he has left, john has one final wish.
To restore his old truck and gift it to his grandson.
After years of being out of touch, john reconnected with his grandson; a young man approaching his drivers license age. This truck isn’t just metal and rubber to John. It’s a symbol of love, reconnection, and something lasting.
He wants to hand him the keys and say “This is for you. Take care of it and yourself”.
But the restoration needs time, tools, and Money.
Goal 1 of $20,000 to get the truck running and safe.
Goal 2 of $40,000 will turn it into a beautiful, fully restored truck. Something his grandson can preserve, cherish, and one say pass on.
