Fueled by Spite: Helping Julie Punch Cancer in the Boob

Julie is a fiercely independent mom of two amazing kids who just got handed the kind of plot twist no one asks for: breast cancer. The good news? It’s treatable. The bad news? Treatment is expensive, exhausting, and totally sucks.

Julie will be going through surgery, chemo, and radiation over the course of the rest of this year—all while trying to parent, pay the bills, and heal. Asking for help isn’t really her thing, but cancer doesn’t care about that —or rent, or groceries, or how much gluten-free food costs (yeah, she’s got celiac too ).

Gaps in income when she has to miss work

Gluten-free meals for her and the kids

Medical supplies to make recovery a little less awful
