On June 1, 2025 , my son and toddler granddaughter were involved in a devastating head-on collision with an unlicensed, uninsured tow truck driver. This incident left them both hospitalized, with my son requiring multiple surgical procedures. While my granddaughter required multiple days of around the clock monitoring due to a skull fracture she sustained. Graciously they have been released from the hospital but continue to go through ongoing monitoring through frequent follow up appointments.
My son’s crippling injuries have left him unable to walk, drive, or work. He has had to return home with me, for around the clock support and assistance. His injuries along with the loss of his vehicle, has caused financial hardship for him and his daughter. My son’s recovery is expected to take between 4 to 6 months, potentially longer depending on ongoing treatments and rehabilitation needs.
God has given my son and granddaughter a second chance and we are truly thankful.
