Hello, I’m Gabriel Jones, a 17-year-old in foster care. I’ve been a transgender man for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was 9 years old, I’ve suffered from dysphoria related to my chest, resulting in depression, social anxiety, and avoiding contact with others. This fundraiser is for my top surgery. I have 8 months until I turn 18, and I’d like to get this as soon as possible so that I can be happy in my own body for the first time in my life since I learned the difference between boys and girls. I’ve been poor my whole life, wondering if we’d have groceries to eat every month, and I couldn’t even imagine making this much money no matter how many jobs I work. It doesn’t matter how much or little you donate; it all makes a significant impact on my future, and I’m grateful for every single penny.
