In 2017, my world was turned upside down when I lost my partner. That devastating loss led to a downward spiral — I lost everything. My vehicle was taken, my house was foreclosed on, and I was left with nothing but our loyal dog, Luna. She was all I had left, and she kept me going through the darkest time of my life.
Luna later gave me the greatest gift: Alpha 1, her baby. He became my reason to smile again. In 2020, I finally started to rebuild after all the pain, slowly putting my life back together. Then in 2023, I lost my baby girl Luna to cancer. But even now, I don’t make much money, and every day is still a financial struggle.
Now, Alpha 1 — the one who saved me — is fighting for his own life. He’s been diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma and needs chemotherapy treatments that I simply cannot afford on my own. Watching him battle this and not being able to give him everything he needs breaks my heart.
