My name is Angie, and I’m fundraising on behalf of myself, an incredibly strong and resilient person who lives with transverse myelitis—a chronic, often disabling disease that affects the central nervous system.
As transverse myelitis has progressed, it’s become increasingly difficult for me to live comfortably and safely in my current living situation. Everyday tasks—like climbing stairs, using the bathroom, or even navigating narrow doorways—can be exhausting or even dangerous.
I am raising funds to help myself put a down payment on a home that will offer safety, stability, and the ability to customize it with accessibility features like ramps, handrails, and wide doorways. A home that suits my health needs would drastically improve my quality of life and allow me to focus on my well-being rather than fighting my environment every day.
Any contribution—no matter how small—will go directly toward securing a safe and stable home. Your kindness will help give me not just a roof over my head, but freedom, independence, and peace of mind.
If you’re not in a position to donate, sharing this campaign would mean the world to me.
Thank you so much for reading and for supporting myself who truly deserves a safe place to call home.
